Ning…Please help

Dear Handbell Podcast Listeners –
We here at the Handbell Podcast have been adamant supporters of the service Ning.com which hosts our Community site. We have been with Ning.com since it’s creation over 5 years ago and love the amazing and unique service it offers people. As an educator I have found it an irreplaceable tool for advocating for my program and keeping in contact with parents.
Recently, Ning announced that they will be unplugging their free ad-based service and going to a pay for everything program. I don’t begrudge them their need for generating revenue, but I feel like this could be a tragic decision for such a unique company. 75% of their users right now use the free ad-based system.
